Nneka Onwu is a seasoned public health physician with over 25 years of experience in clinical and public health sector. She possesses expertise in primary health care systems strengthening, health financing, human resource for health management, disease control and immunization as well as community health services. Nneka has coordinated key technical divisions and health promotion programs, championing nationwide primary health care service delivery initiatives and strengthening community-based structures through evidence-based methods and innovative ideas. A strategic advocate for sustainable domestic funding for health and social care services, a fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.She holds a professional master's degree in health economics, a postgraduate diploma in health economics, an MPH, and an MSc in Public Health (Epidemiology).
